I am a registered member of the BACP, and am trained in humanistic counselling, which allows me to keep your own experiences and beliefs at the heart of the work.  I do not consider myself as the expert in the room; that role belongs to the you.

My experience of working within military rehabilitation has provided me with a professional maturity and robustness, which allows me to listen to your feelings and experiences without being over-whelmed.  I hope that this resilience gives you the confidence to share without the fear of shocking me or making me uncomfortable.

The therapy I offer depends on the needs of each individual.  Giving you the space and respect to be truly heard is the main goal of therapy, allowing you to explore your issues in a caring and non-judgmental relationship.  In other cases a more practical approach may be useful, looking at techniques for mood management, relationship problems and breaking down any barriers for personal success.
